Rehabilitation Services

At Covenant Hospital Plainview, we believe every patient requires a unique rehabilitation program specifically designed to meet his or her individual needs. Covenant Hospital Plainview's team of physical therapist, technicians, speech therapist, and staff offer a broad spectrum of services to include orthopedic/joint replacement therapies, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, wound care, pediatrics, sports injuries, and acute care rehab.

Acute Care Rehabilitation

Our acute care rehabilitation program provides therapy for patients recovering from a wide range of conditions, including illness, injury, and surgical procedures. Our therapists focus on helping patients become as independent as possible while their medical conditions require them to stay in the hospital.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

We offer outpatient rehab programs designed to help patients attain their maximum level of independence following a debilitating stroke, illness, injury, or surgery. Our outpatient physical therapy and speech therapy services are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and as needed on weekends and holidays.

Sports Rehabilitation

Our sports rehab programs focus on return to play through teamwork with doctors and school trainers. Our goal-oriented protocols are designed to accelerate a return to competition.

Pediatric Rehabilitation

Our pediatric programs are designed to help children realize their fullest developmental potential.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Our orthopedic programs are designed to optimize outcomes for those having joint replacements, fracture repairs, and other mechanical impairments. Our services are well-known to medical specialists and communities in our area.

Wound Care

Patients who experience a delay in the body's natural wound healing process may develop and ongoing medical problem or chronic wound. Our therapists are well-trained in the latest techniques and work closely with physicians to prevent wound formation and accelerate the healing process.
